Some Thinking For The Morning
I was bored this morning. The schools have gone back and that is depressing all by itself. So I did some thinking. And this is what I thought…
If I were God, I would make some changes.
Firstly, I would get rid of all that praying and praising and all that, because I would get bored of it. After a while it would be like when someone tells you they love you all the time, like more than twice every minute, and you just want to shout “I KNOW! SHUT UP! I WANT TO WATCH TV NOW!” And it would be like if someone said “merry Christmas” twice every minute - by the time Christmas gets here “merry Christmas” has lost its meaning and you never want to hear it again.
And I would ban churches, because if I was God, I wouldn’t want to be constantly told what I said and did: “God created the heavens and the earth”. Yes, I’m sure he knows that. He was there. I don’t walk up to the people I know and say “On Saturday, you went to the shops and bought a pint of milk”. That would just confuse them.
I think if I was God, I would be an atheist God. Because organised religion annoys me. But I would keep that incense stuff they burn, cz that smells nice.
Anyway, thats what i thought.
